Lifestyle of a leader reflects his values, norms, attitudes, personal identiy, worldview, private and public living and belief systems. John Wesley says “when you set yourself on fire people will love to come and see you burn” and Benjamin Franklin notes that “if passion drives you; let reason hold the reins”.

Lifestyle is a consistent pattern of behaviour, attitude, norm, values, and a way of life”. This consistency can be positive or negative.

B. PASSION: This is “the energy that comes more of you into what you do” thus, it is an alignment with who you are and what you do.

C. LEADER: A leader is a person of influence. Anyone who influences others is a leader.

FEATURES OF A LEADER WITH A CONSISTENT LIFESTYLE
-He leads based on his life story.
-He is true to himself and others.
-He is a man of integrity: He does not simulate.
-He is a man of prayer and intercession.
-He is true to his love or partner.
-He practices good stewardship.
-He leads without obsession to title.
-He never forget his constituency.
-He resolves not to defile himself.
-He is a man of vision.
-His words are seasoned with grace.
-He belives in himself as well as in others.
-He think beyond himself.
-He appreciates people and he knows the value of working with people. -He loves a life of self denial.
-He motivates himself.
-He relies heavily on God for direction, guidance and motivation. -He is endowed with knowledge and understanding.
-He is a man who evaluates from time to time so that he may reach his destination. -He is skillful.
-He loves the people.
